For families, from a family

Caring for a parent is a lot.
You don't have to do it alone.

Maybe Mom is having trouble with the stairs. Maybe Dad forgets his lunch. Maybe you are just tired, and worried, and doing your best from an hour away. However you got here, we can help, gently and at your pace.

Not sure what you need? That is completely normal. Call us and just talk it through, no pressure and no script.

What care actually looks like

It is not a hospital coming into your home. It is a good day, made easier.

A gentle start to the day

A caregiver arrives, puts the coffee on, and helps with the parts of the morning that have gotten harder: a shower with someone steady nearby, getting dressed, a warm breakfast, and a quiet reminder about the morning pills. Nothing rushed. Just the morning, handled with care.

Company, a walk, and a little lightness

Lunch together, then maybe a short walk, a hand of cards, or watering the tomatoes out back. Companionship is real care. Loneliness is hard on people, and a familiar face who actually listens can change a whole day. If there is an errand or a doctor's visit, we drive.

Evening

Winding down, safely

Dinner, a little tidying, help getting ready for bed, and the peace of mind that someone was there for the part of the day when a fall is most likely. Some families need a few hours, others need overnight or around-the-clock care. We build the schedule around your parent, not the other way around.

Every family is different, and the right amount of care is rarely obvious at first. Call us and just talk it through, no pressure and no script.

The people who show up

You are letting someone into your parent's home. That is a big deal to us too.

Our caregivers are our employees, not contractors and not names off a registry you manage yourself. We hire them, screen them, train them, insure and bond them, and supervise them. If someone is ever sick, that is our problem to solve, not yours.

Every caregiver is background-checked and screened before they ever meet your family. We take who comes through your door seriously, because we would want the same for our own parents.

Worried you are asking too soon, or waiting too long? There is no wrong time to ask a question. Call and we will talk it through together.

How it starts

Three gentle steps, at your pace

1

A phone call

You tell us what is going on. We listen, ask a few caring questions, and help you understand what kind of support might actually help. This call is free and there is no obligation.

2

A free in-home visit

We come to the home, meet your parent, and look at the day together: the routines, the tricky spots, what matters to them. From that, we build a care plan in plain language.

3

You meet your caregiver

We match a caregiver to your family and introduce them. If it is not the right fit, we make it right. And as needs change, the care plan changes with them.

“I live four hours away, and Longleaf gave me my mother back as my mother, instead of my full-time job. I sleep now. That is not a small thing.”

Let's start with a conversation.

No commitment, no pressure. Call us and tell us what is going on, or request a free in-home assessment. We will help you figure out what kind of care would actually help, even if that turns out to be very little.
