A Family Name on Every Truck
Carolina Comfort Systems started in 1998 with one van and a promise: fix it right, charge fair, and pick up the phone. Twenty-five years later we are twelve strong, still family-run, and still built on the same promise.
Ray Delgado started the company after fifteen years wrenching for someone else. He was tired of watching customers get sold systems twice the size they needed. So he hung his own shingle in Millbrook Crossing and did it the way he thought it should be done.
His son Rick grew up riding along on service calls, learning that the job is half technical and half trust. Rick took the reins in 2014 and kept everything that worked: the honest quotes, the load calculations, the answered phone. He added a few things too, like the Comfort Club and a fleet of stocked trucks so most repairs finish in one visit.
Today the crew is twelve people, all local. We still turn down jobs we cannot do right, we still tell you when a repair beats a replacement, and Rick still shows up on the big installs himself. That is not a marketing line. It is just how a family business survives twenty-five years.
Three Things We Do Not Bend On
Honest to a Fault
If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we say so, even when the bigger sale was on the table. That is why families call us for three decades.
Trained and Certified
Our techs are NATE-certified and EPA 608 certified. We invest in training because a well-diagnosed system is a cheaper system to own.
Rooted Here
We live in Millbrook Crossing. We sponsor the youth league, we run the coat drive, and we bump into our customers at the grocery store. Reputation is all we have.
The People Who Show Up
Rick Delgado
Owner / Lead Installer
Second-generation owner. Grew up pulling wire alongside his dad and took over the company in 2014. NATE-certified and still runs installs himself.
Marcus Bailey
Senior Service Technician
Fifteen years in the field and the guy you want on a tricky no-cool diagnosis. NATE-certified and unreasonably calm in a hot attic.
Dana Whitfield
Comfort Advisor
Runs the load calculations and walks homeowners through replacement options without the pressure. Knows rebates better than anyone in the county.
Sofia Reyes
Office Manager
The voice on the phone when you call. Schedules the crews, keeps the Comfort Club running, and makes sure nobody falls through the cracks.
